About Brad Kremer
I’ve spent 20 years in international schools. That’s what makes this different.
I’m the founder of Adansonia Education, an independent university counseling practice for internationally mobile families and third culture kids applying to universities in the US, Canada, the UK, continental Europe, Australia, and beyond. I am a member of the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC) and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
Before I ever held the title of University Counselor, I spent two decades in international schools across the US, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Finland, and Cambodia, working as a teacher, department head, IB coordinator, and Director of Education. I’ve watched how international students grow, where they find their strengths, and what the gap looks like between a student’s potential and the story their application tells.
Most recently, I served as University Counselor at an international school in Phnom Penh, guiding students through applications to universities in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and continental Europe.
I work with third culture kids: students who spend a large part of their childhood in a culture different from their parents’ home culture. Their transcripts are often disjointed and their stories span multiple countries and school systems. I know how to help them make sense of their academic profile and turn their international experience into an application that’s honest and compelling.
I’m also a parent of three TCKs, so I understand this from your side too.
My commitment is to the student, not to any university and not to placement statistics. My job is to help students understand themselves clearly enough to make intentional decisions about what comes next.
